Bollywood is in shock since the news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death hit the internet. The Chhichhore actor was found hanging in his Bandra, Mumbai flat. He was just 34, and he had been suffering from depression for the past six months.
Several Bollywood bigwigs condoled the untimely demise of the actor. Salman Khan was one of them. Taking to Twitter, Salman simply wrote, “U will be missed … #RIPSushant (sic).”

The news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has been difficult to process. Earlier in the day, Shah Rukh Khan shared a throwback photograph with Sushant Singh Rajput and said that he will miss the 34-year-old actor.
“He loved me so much…I will miss him so much. His energy, enthusiasm and his full happy smile. May Allah bless his soul and my condolences to his near and dear ones. This is extremely sad….and so shocking (sic),” Shah Rukh tweeted. From the looks of it, the photograph was clicked at the time when Sushant was prepping for his role in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, in 2016.

Apart from Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, several other Bollywood actors tweeted remembering Sushant Singh Rajput. Anushka Sharma wrote, “Sushant, you were too young and brilliant to have gone so soon. I’m so sad and upset knowing that we lived in an environment that could not help you through any troubles you may have had. May your soul rest in peace (sic).” Anushka and Sushant had worked together in PK.

“I really can’t believe this. Sushant was a wonderful actor and I still remember the times I spent with him. His performance always inspired me. Deepest condolences to his fans and family. RIP #SushantSinghRajput (sic),” read Varun Dhawan’s tweet.

Shabana Azmi, shocked at the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, tweeted, “What ? Why ? Psychiatrists say suicide can be prevented if those around can read the signals and seek medical help and counselling. What a loss for the film industry #Sushant Singh Rajput -Deeply tragic (sic).”

Chhicchore remains Sushant Singh Rajput’s last theatre release. The actor’s last film, Dil Bechara, is yet to release. The film’s release had been stalled due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
