Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid his last respect to actor Sushant Singh Rajput in a Twitter post. The actor committed suicide at his Mumbai residence this morning. He was 34.
In his post, Rahul called the actor ‘young and talented’ and wrote that he was ‘sorry to hear’ about his demise.
“I am sorry to hear about the passing of #SushantSinghRajput. A young & talented actor, gone too soon. My condolences to his family, friends & fans across the world,” his tweet read.

Many other political leaders have grieved Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the actor an inspiration for many, while Bihar CM Nitish Kumar called his death an irreplaceable loss for the film industry.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral will take place in Mumbai on Monday. Sushant’s father will fly down to the city from Patna tomorrow.
