Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at the age of 34 on June 14 in his home in Bandra, Mumbai. The actor was suffering from depression from the last six months.
The news of his sudden demise left his colleagues in Bollywood shocked and they took to Twitter to pay their last respects. Hrithik Roshan also expressed his grief on Twitter as the War actor penned a heartfelt note for Sushant.

Other celebrities from Bollywood as well expressed their grief. His co-star Anushka Sharma wrote, “Sushant, you were too young and brilliant to have gone so soon. I’m so sad and upset knowing that we lived in an environment that could not help you through any troubles you may have had. May your soul rest in peace. (sic)”

Akshay Kumar tweeted, “Honestly this news has left me shocked and speechless…I remember watching #SushantSinghRajput in Chhichhore and telling my friend Sajid, its producer how much I’d enjoyed the film and wish I’d been a part of it. Such a talented actor…may God give strength to his family. (sic)”

Sushant Singh Rajput became a household name when he starred in the serial Pavitra Rishta. He made his debut in Bollywood with the film, Kai Po Che. He was last seen in Chhichhore.
